The much awaited messaging service, Blackberry Messenger (BBM) to be released again to non-Blackberry devices soon within days. The Blackberry Messenger will be available for Android, iOS and Blackberry Platforms.
Three weeks before, the Blackberry had an unsuccessful launch of its application to the non-Blackberry devices which reported many bugs that was faced by the BBM users and also due to an existing unofficial older version of the messaging service was downloaded by a number of that caused issues with the BBM messaging platform. The BBM was suspended then.
Frank Boulben, BlackBerry’s chief marketing officer, said, “ BBM will be launched again for Android and iOS users within days, adding that some of the bugs that was discovered after initial cross-platform of the BBM earlier.”
He added, “BlackBerry already has 6 million Android and iPhone customers pre-registered for its BBM service.”
