Facebook rolls out Auto-Play videos to news feed

Images grab more attention of the users as compared to the videos, as users find it difficult watching the videos as it requires loading and buffering and also they are unable to decide whether the video matches their interests or not.

Videos can engross the users more as compared to the images and content, as it can give more understanding to the viewer about whatever they are watching, which at times, pictures and content fail to express. Facebook has decided to add an additional feature “Auto-Play Video Ads” which preloads the video on the newsfeed, without audio. This will help the users to get an idea about what the video is talking about and decide accordingly whether to move ahead with the video or not.
